Cycling Routes

Road cyclists can follow the route of the Tour de France which came through the district in 2014.

For cyclists wanting a more genteel pace Uttlesford Wildlife have routes following quieter lanes which each take you on a tour past some special roadside verges with their summertime wildflowers and butterflies.
Cyclists who are less confident on the roads or have young children in tow can head to Hatfield Forest or explore the Flitch Way, a former railway track which is now an important greenway and wildlife corridor.
