We are located in the very picturesque village of Hatfield Broad Oak close to Hatfield Forest which attracts local ramblers and is on a major route to Stansted Airport, making us a perfect stop off point for people travelling to and from the airport.

We have an extensive lunch & evening menu as well as daily chef’s specialties which include traditional, locally sourced food that is freshly served; all food is cooked to order. Our menu has a wide selection of tasty treats, so why not come and visit us to see for yourself.

Our family run pub has been featured in CAMRA the good beer guide for the past 3 years, so you can expect a good choice of high quality Real Ales as well as excellent fine wines & spirits for you to choose from, making your meal a little more special.

The building dates back to the 18th century when it was a coaching house, but parts of the original building date back to the 16th century.

We also have a small seasonal garden with seating, both front & rear, so you can relax and have a couple of drinks and enjoy the views.
