The first full season Open Day and the first Tudor Day to be held at the Gardens.
Elizabeth I gave the estate to Henry Maynard and visitors will meet Lord Burghley and his entourage, as they visit to inspect the building of Easton Lodge in 1594.
There will be a range of Tudor activities for visitors, provided by the Companye of Merrie Folke and others, including archery & armour, net making and weaving, tudor games, quill writing and pottage making.
Visitors will also find daffodils, tulips and a variety of other wild and cultivated flowers bringing colour across the Gardens.
We will have available for sale:- plants, honey, woodturned products and crafts, and the Trust’s merchandise.
Our treehouse is always popular with children of all ages, along with Kim our elephant statue, a reminder of the Countess of Warwick’s baby elephant.

Our volunteers will provide locally sourced bacon, cheese or hummus rolls; homemade cakes; and hot and cold drinks until they run out – or till 4.00pm.
