The Christmas Event has been a regular event that has been held at the ASU and is popular with all members of the public that visit- there is something for everyone!

The ASU has to raise funds to stay open and these events stand as fundraisers to pay for crucial animal feed and improvements such as fencing, grazing, accommodation and new animals for education.

Bring the family for a fun day out to meet Santa at our Santa’s Grotto or have a go and try your luck on our raffle with prizes donated from local businesses here in Saffron Walden. Have the chance to handle some of our animals in our animals demonstrations as well as learning about some of the more exotic types of animals that we house here at the ASU. Also have a look round the range of craft stalls that will be attending our event with the perfect opportunity to do some last-minute Christmas shopping.
