July Open Day: Remembering the Gardens in the World Wars

July 20 @ 11:00 - 17:00

There was an airfield in the Easton Lodge estate during WW2 and it was a training ground for WW1. Information from the Trust’s archives and from other exhibitors will tell the stories of the men and women involved. Live music will evoke the era and get us singing along.

Visitors will find something of interest for all. Children will enjoy a Garden trail and crafts. Details tbc

The Gardens will also be at their best in July, with lots of colour and vegetables growing apace in the walled kitchen garden.

Hot bacon/cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks.

Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance or £7.00 on the gate.
Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
