Gardens of Easton Lodge: Time to Remember the World Wars

June 14 @ 11:00 - 17:00

Easton Lodge held training for soldiers heading to WW1 and there was an airfield in the Easton Lodge estate during WW2. Information from the Trust’s archives will tell the stories of the men and women involved. Visitors will also learn from a range of other local museum and community group displays, tbc. Live songs from the Lancashire Belle will evoke the era and get us singing along. The Gardens are open 11am to 5pm, last entry 4pm.

Visitors will find something of interest for all. Children will also enjoy a Garden trail and crafts.

The Gardens will be at their best in June, with lots of colour and vegetables growing apace in the walled kitchen garden; and garden produce on sale.

Craft stalls.

Refreshments provided by the Trust from Daisy’s: Cheese/hummus rolls, homemade cakes and hot and cold drinks. And bacon/sausage rolls provided by the Giggly Pig.

Adult entry £6.00 if bought in advance here or £7.50 on the gate.
Children under 16 FREE. Dogs on leads welcome.

Advance tickets will be refunded if the Trust has to decide the Gardens cannot open, due to a significant risk to visitors and volunteers, for example from adverse weather or very poor ground conditions.
