ENTRY and RULES:

The subject of the image must be your dog/s in a location in Uttlesford – it should help to promote what a great place Uttlesford is to visit with your canine companion. It can be a landscape or portrait layout. It can be taken on a mobile phone, camera or smart device. It can be in colour or black and white and can feature landscapes, buildings, plants, animals, aerial and action, but it must include a dog too! If it features people or other persons property, you should seek their permission to use the image. The image must have been taken by you (and not be stock photography from the internet). The competition is free to enter and open to all ages of residents of Uttlesford as well as visitors. One entry submission per person.

The closing date for entries is 5pm on 31st July 2023. The winner will be announced on our website www.discoveruttlesford.co.uk and our social media channels* on 3rd August 2023. The judges’ decision is final. The prize is a photography session with pet specialist Maria Michael from De Theo Photography. This includes a planning meeting, followed by a photography session, which must take place within Uttlesford, either on location or at your home. The winner will also receive a 10 x 8 luxury card mounted print. There is no cash alternative.

By entering the Discover Uttlesford photo competition, you give us the right to use your image for marketing purposes e.g. on our website, in print format (as a postcard) and on our social media channels*. You also give your permission for the image to be used for follow-up publicity.

Entries that are not accompanied by a completed entry form will be deemed invalid.
