A regular bushcraft club that runs on the second Saturday of each month. Our afternoon session is for children aged 10 years upwards.
We will become proficient at the key bushcraft skills such as primitive fire lighting, knife work, tracking and shelter building. As the seasons pass we will explore the woodlands and get to know the wildlife, forage and use the seasons to guide us.
Our aim will be to cover all of the bushcraft essentials over the year so will include topics such as archery, water purification, natural navigation, orienteering skills and pioneering.
We hope to instigate some ambitious projects!
